Free diagnostic without an account

The diagnostic form collects the website URL and your email to provide and follow up on the requested analysis. Contact details are encrypted, retained for 30 days and accessible only to administrators. No account or newsletter subscription is created. Reports contain public-page observations, never your email. Anyone with the report link can access it for 7 days. Stored reports may be reused for 7 days to limit crawling, retaining their original observation date. Temporary counters based on hashes of the IP and email limit abuse.

1. Controller and contact

The data controller is Smart Impact Sàrl, avenue Cardinal-Mermillod 36, 1227 Carouge, Switzerland, publisher of SEO Tempo. Contact: contact@seotempo.com. For any request regarding your data, specify the account and sites concerned, without sending your password or access tokens.

2. Data processed and purposes

• Account: name, email address, password hash, account status, and preferences, to manage your access and security.
• Sites and content: site addresses, crawled pages, metadata, links, keywords, audits, briefs, and content, in order to provide the analyses and editorial features requested.
• Connections: identifiers for the properties and locations you select, authorizations and OAuth tokens, to access the services you connect and renew that access.
• How it works: technical logs, IP addresses, browser information, errors, and feature usage, to operate the service and prevent abuse.
• Subscription and support: subscription information, billing references, and support exchanges. When a payment method is offered, card data is processed by the payment provider.

This processing enables the requested service to be performed, the security and administration of the platform, and compliance with applicable obligations. Where the GDPR applies, its legal bases are the performance of the contract, our legitimate interests in securing and operating the service, our legal obligations, and your consent for processing that requires it.

3. Access to Google data

SEO Tempo does not receive your Google password. Access goes through Google's authorization screen and the permissions granted:

• Search Console — webmasters.readonly: reading accessible properties and search performance, including pages, queries, clicks, impressions, and positions. This data is used for dashboards and SEO analysis.
• Analytics — analytics.readonly: reading authorized accounts, properties, and reports, to display traffic and performance statistics for connected sites.
• Business Profile — business.manage: access to authorized accounts and locations, reviews, reviewers’ public names, ratings, and replies. This separate connection lets you sync reviews and publish the replies you request. The Google permission is broader than just reading reviews.

Imported data, analyses, and drafts may be kept in your workspace and accessible to authorized members of the site. Tokens allow syncing to continue as long as access remains valid.

4. Limited use of Google data

SEO Tempo is committed to complying with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its limited use requirements ("Limited Use"). Google data is used for the features visible and requested in the application. It is not sold, used for ad targeting, or used to train general-purpose AI models.

Their disclosure is limited to providing authorized features, security needs, legal obligations, or a business transfer with the required prior consent. Human access at the publisher and its providers is limited to actions permitted by this policy, notably with your explicit consent, for security, or to comply with a legal obligation.

5. Artificial intelligence and service providers

AI features may send the content and context needed for your request to the provider configured for your site, notably OpenAI. For a draft reply to a Google review, this includes the business name, the reviewer's public name, their rating, their comment, and up to five recent replies. The draft is saved in SEO Tempo; publishing it on Google requires a separate action.

Writing and strategy features may process the pages, keywords, briefs, and analysis data needed for the task. Do not include confidential data unless you have the right to share it. This processing is used to provide the requested feature, not to train general-purpose models.

Hosting, email, and error-tracking providers process the information needed for their roles. Depending on the features used, Stripe handles payments, data providers handle SEO research, and OpenAI handles AI. Google receives requests sent to its APIs; WordPress receives the actions and content you choose to send it. Providers are subject to data protection obligations appropriate to their role.

Processing may take place outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where safeguards are required, transfers must be governed by applicable mechanisms, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You can request details at contact@seotempo.com.

6. Retention, disconnection, and deletion

Working data is retained while the account is in use and until deletion, subject to applicable retention obligations. The account settings let you request deletion: the account is deactivated and permanently deleted after a 30-day period. This applies to data for sites you own.

You can disconnect the services in the app and revoke authorization in your connections on your Google account. Revocation prevents new access, but does not automatically erase reports, reviews, or drafts already imported. To request their deletion, use account deletion or write to contact@seotempo.com. Data created directly in Google or WordPress remains subject to those services' rules.

Some items may be retained where required by law, security, or dispute management. Backup copies follow the hosting provider’s retention cycle and are not intended for routine use after deletion; contact us for details on the terms applicable to your data.

7. Security

The application uses account and site access controls, password hashing, and mechanisms to protect login credentials. Public access uses HTTPS. Security also depends on protecting your credentials and choosing who is authorized in your workspaces.

8. Cookies and external resources

SEO Tempo uses cookies and storage necessary for authentication, security, and preferences, including for the Kontent-Flow module. The cookie seotempo_consent, valid for six months, remembers your choice on this domain. You can reopen the panel with "Manage cookies", available at the bottom of SEO Tempo pages and in the public footer.

No audience measurement tool is currently active for browsing on SEO Tempo. The Google Analytics connection is used to view the stats of the sites you authorize; it does not enable tracking of your browsing on SEO Tempo. If Google AdSense advertising is configured in the application, it stays blocked until you consent and can be declined or disabled from this panel.

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and Fontshare; these providers receive the technical request information, including the IP address. Authorizing Google connections and processing imported data are separate from cookie preferences and are described above.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. Settings offer an export of your account information; for further requests, contact contact@seotempo.com. You can withdraw your consent and refer the matter to the competent data protection authority, notably the FDPIC in Switzerland or your local authority in the European Economic Area.

10. Changes to this policy

The date at the top of the page indicates the last update. Any new use of Google data requiring your consent will be presented to you before it takes effect. SEO Tempo is intended for professional use and is not intended for children. Also see the terms of use.
